Speckled is the blender I reach for most. Rashida Coleman-Hale layers a fine paint spatter over a solid-dyed Ruby Star cotton base, so it reads like a solid from across the room but has so much more going on up close.

This charm pack gives you 42 squares at 5" (12.7cm), spanning the Speckled range — brights, soft pastels, deep moody darks and everything in between. It's a lovely low-commitment way to get the whole spectrum in your hands, and charm squares are wonderfully beginner-friendly: no cutting, no measuring, just open the pack and start stitching. Perfect for simple patchwork, a scrappy nine-patch, or dropping in between your favourite prints to give them room to breathe.
