Tuesday – Saturday: 10am – 3pm
Sunday & Monday: Closed

Come and run your hands over our curated fabrics — Ruby Star Society, Art Gallery, Liberty and more — browse quilt kits, patterns and notions, and pop in for a sniff of our Thread Butter. We've also built a lovely classroom space, and there are classes running now for anyone who's ever thought "I'd love to quilt, but I wouldn't know where to start." (That was me once too!)

🚗 Parking & getting here

Popping in for a browse? There's one-hour street parking right out front — 10am–3pm Monday to Friday, and 8.30am–12.30pm on Saturdays. Plenty of time for a good fabric wander.

Staying for a class? An hour won't cut it, so head for the side streets a few short blocks away instead. Primrose, Gordon and Harris Street are all good bets and unrestricted on Saturdays — an easy walk to our door.

Do have a quick read of the signs wherever you park. Gardeners Rd has clearways at either end of the day, and they're strictly enforced.

🚌 Public transport: The 343 and 358 buses drop you conveniently nearby.

☕ Hungry?

We're spoiled for choice around here. Keens Sandwich Shop is a few doors down at 393 Gardeners Rd, Rose Borek at 399 does excellent Turkish, and Two Fives Cafe is just along at 355. If you fancy a wander, The Cannery on Mentmore Ave is about ten minutes on foot with plenty of options.
