About Angie and Coco

Hi, I'm Vicki — maker, fabric lover, and the person behind Angie & Coco. 👋

I came to quilting later in life, and honestly? It changed everything. But when I first started out, I found it really hard to find beginner-friendly guidance and contemporary fabrics that felt fresh and exciting. Most of what was out there felt intimidating, outdated, or just not very me.

I also craved community — a place to sit alongside other makers, share a laugh, ask a question without feeling silly, and just create together.

So I decided to build the shop I wished had existed when I was starting out.

Angie & Coco is named after my daughters Angeline and Chloe — a daily reminder of why I do what I do. We stock modern, vibrant fabrics and curated kits from the brands makers love (think Ruby Star Society, Art Gallery Fabrics, and Liberty), and everything is chosen with one question in mind: will this spark joy for someone just like me?

No dusty florals. No overwhelm. Just bold colour, clear guidance, and pure creative joy. 🌈

We're also opening our first physical store in Rosebery, Sydney — with a dedicated classroom and workshop space for all skill levels. Whether you're picking up a needle for the very first time or looking to level up your technique, there's a place for you here.

We also host regular Sit and Sew days — because quilting is always better with company. Come for the stitching, stay for the community. 🧵

We're based in Sydney and ship Australia wide — so no matter where you are, you can be part of the Angie & Coco community.
