The Lollies are the clever bit of this range. Each cut runs eight different coordinating designs across the width of the fabric — so the eight Lollies give you sixty-four prints in just eight cuts. Jen's signature scrappy look, without hunting down sixty-four fabrics.

Hazel is the warm colourway — pinks, corals, reds, oranges and golds right the way through. Its sister colourway Trentham takes the very same eight designs somewhere cooler and broader, with greens, olives and teals in the mix. The two are named for the quilts in Jen's book Gathered: Quilt Recipes 2, and they're lovely apart or together.

Jen is Australian — a farm girl from rural Victoria who learned English paper piecing from the women in her nursing dormitory, and now teaches all over the world. The prints come straight out of her own life: there are carrots from her carrot cake recipe hiding in Lollie Five, and a nod to jam drops elsewhere in the range.
