Fauna is one of Alison Glass's boxed palettes for WonderFil — a saturated, nature-toned spread that runs from dahlia pink and ruby through orange, ochre and yellow, into shamrock and grasshopper greens, then blue, cobalt, soft shadow grey and a deep raven black. Eleganza is an 8wt, 2-ply, 100% long staple Egyptian cotton. It's double gassed and mercerised, which gives it a smooth, lustrous surface that glides through fabric and leaves very little lint behind. The tight twist means your stitches sit firm and even, and the subtle sheen lifts hand stitching beautifully.
