I made this because I got so sick of fighting my own thread when I was learning to hand piece. Nobody tells you that one little tin fixes about 80% of the frustration! Now I keep one in my sewing box, one in my travel pouch, and one in the car (don't ask).

Run your thread across the surface two or three times. It comes away smoother, stronger and much better behaved, it lies flat instead of twisting back on itself, and it stops knotting the moment your attention wanders.

Honeyed, warm and a little bit woody. Our original, and still the one I reach for.

Lovely for English paper piecing, hand piecing, appliqué, big stitch and hand quilting. One tin lasts absolutely ages.
