Sew-cial Tuesdays is our relaxed, no-pressure hand sewing morning — the first and third Tuesday of every month, 10am to 1pm, here in the studio at Rosebery.

There's no teacher and no set project. Just a comfy spot at the table, good company, and three hours to actually make some progress on whatever you've got on the go. Start something new, finish something old, or bring that project that's been sitting in the cupboard since 2023 👀

What's included

• Your seat at the table for the morning
• Tea and coffee flowing all morning
• A little something for morning tea
• Me on hand if you get stuck or want a second opinion
• A room full of like-minded people who get it 💜

What to bring

Your project and everything it needs — pattern, fabric, threads, needles, papers, templates, scissors, thimble, whatever your project calls for.

English paper piecing, hand quilting, applique, sashiko, embroidery, hexies, binding by hand — all welcome. This one is hand sewing only, so no machines please.

And if you're arriving empty-handed or fancy starting something new, we've got plenty of projects and kits in store to get you going!

Cancellations & transfers

Places are limited and prepared especially for you, so class fees aren't refundable for change of mind. You're welcome to transfer to another date or send a friend in your place with at least 24 hours' notice. Read our full class bookings policy →
