Timeline & What to Expect

When does the program run?

Monthly fabric shipments run for 12 months, starting in June 2026 and concluding in May 2027.

What do I receive each month?

Each month you’ll receive a curated fabric pack (supplied in metric measurements with a generous buffer) for 3 blocks, plus any pre-printed foundation paper piecing sheets required for those blocks. You will also receive a monthly email with guidance and tips to keep your creative momentum high.

Do I receive the book/pattern?

Yes — the physical State Fair Sampler book is included in your Month 1 shipment. This serves as your project headquarters for the entire year.

When are kits dispatched each month?

Kits ship in the first week of each month. You’ll receive a shipment confirmation and tracking number via email as soon as your kit is on its way.

Payments & Billing

How much does it cost?

The program is a flat $60 per month. This price is all-inclusive, covering your premium fabric, pre-printed FPP sheets, the pattern book (in Month 1), and standard tracked shipping Australia-wide.

How does billing work?

Your first payment is charged at sign-up. This secures your limited spot and covers your Month 1 shipment. Subsequent payments will be automatically charged monthly across the 12-month program term.

Is this a fixed commitment?

Yes. This is a 12-month legal and financial commitment. Because we order and allocate premium fabric based on committed spots, cancellations are not available once you have enrolled. We are in this together until the final binding!

Shipping & Packaging

How is shipping handled?

Standard tracked shipping is included in your $60 monthly payment. We ship Australia-wide via tracked services to ensure your kit arrives safely.

Can I combine shipping with other orders?

We are happy to combine your monthly kit with other items from the store—just reach out before your dispatch date and we’ll get everything packed together for you.

Fabrics, Pattern & Substitutions

What fabric is included?

This BOM is curated exclusively in Devonstone Solids. The palette is strictly modern, vibrant, and inspired by the original colourway—designed to make a bold statement in any room.

Do you provide pre-cuts?

No. Fabrics are supplied as monthly allocations (metric cuts) rather than individual pre-cut shapes. This allows you to follow the full cutting and making process and ensures you have enough fabric for accurate piecing.

What if I’m short a piece?

Check your kit against the monthly roadmap as soon as it arrives. If you find an issue, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will make it right.

Skill Level & Support

Is this suitable for me?

Absolutely. Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned pro, this project is designed to be achievable. The State Fair Sampler book is exceptionally detailed, walking you through every process with clear, step-by-step instructions. If you can sew a straight line and are ready to learn, you are more than ready for this journey.

What techniques will I learn?

You’ll work through a mix of traditional piecing and Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP). Don’t let FPP intimidate you—the pattern book includes guidance on the technique, and we provide the pre-printed foundation sheets to ensure your points are perfect every time. We’ve removed the guesswork so you can focus on the fun part.

Is there a community group?

Absolutely. You’ll receive an invite to our private Facebook group after enrolment. This is the space to share your blocks, troubleshoot with the group, and stay motivated alongside fellow makers.

Problems, Changes & Support

Can I pause or skip a month?

Because the kits are produced on a strict monthly schedule, we cannot pause or skip months. However, the program is designed to be achievable, and you can always sew at your own pace if life gets busy.

What tools do I need?

Standard quilting supplies: rotary cutter, mat, rulers, and neutral thread. For the FPP blocks, a glue stick or glue pen, pair of paper-cutting scissors and an add a quarter ruler will be helpful.
